This villa is immersed within the lush vegetation of the Grotticelli valley, just a few minutes far from the lovely village of Scopello - one of the most beautiful destinations of Western Sicily, for its beautiful scenery and transparent sea as well as for its pretty "baglio" (courtyard) and delicious typical food, most of all couscous and pani cunzatu. The wild and unspoilt nature of the Zingaro Nature Reserve surrounds the house, and is really worth a visit; a lot of wonderful archaeological sites and touristic destinations are within reach from here. Segesta and Selinunte are ancient Greek sites with stunning well-preserved temples, theatres and other evidences; Erice is an elegant and charming hamlet on top of a Mountain with an astonishing overlook on the Western shore, from Capo San Vito to Marsala; Palermo with its magnificent monuments and its peculiar and lively multi-cultural character can't be missed as well - and do not forget to taste local food, from fish couscous to arancine (rice balls) and caponata di melanzane!
