Just a few kilometers from the beautiful Guidaloca beach, Villa Conchiglia is set in a wonderful location and exploring its surroundings means discovering one of the most enchanting districts of Sicily. Scopello, just a few minutes away, is a pretty Medieval hamlet with an ancient "tonnara", once used for storing tunas and now a place of cultural interest as it houses a little but rich seafaring museum. Moreover, a wide number of archaeological sites (such as Segesta and Selinunte with their well-preserved Greek temples) and touristic destinations (such as Palermo, San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani, Erice and Marsala) is easy to reach for daily trips. The nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve is perfect for pleasant walks within a lush vegetation, ending up on top of the mountains and overlooking a stunning panorama, as well as for relaxing days in one of the secluded bays and beaches.
